✨YES TO CREATE WORK-LIFE BALANCE

After an amazing weekend soaking in nature and surrounded by inspiring souls, currently feeling super recharged and uplifted.

Last week I asked in my stories, ¨what are you, spiritual femtrepreneurs struggling with atm?¨ and many of you mentioned work-life balance.

After experiencing few mayor “burnouts” in my life, I have found the secret sauce to create work-life balance and to help other to do so.

To avoid burnout, mental & physical exhaustion, we have to operate consciously and to make the daily choices which contribute towards our general well-being.

👉🏻 My secret sauce is pretty simple, it is a combination of defining your non-negotiables, honouring your timings and meeting your emotional, mental & physical needs.

🔥 So what are non-negotiables? These are the things you will not negotiate on, the things you do daily without negotiation.

That also includes what you will and won’t accept from yourself and others.

✨ This is all about aligning with what matters to you, the things that help you create harmony in all dimensions of your life.

So here are 5 of my non-negotiables, you can have as many as you want;

1. Remind myself everyday that less is more
2. Listen to myself & honor my resting time
3. Get 8 hours of sleep
4. Integrate practices such as journaling, movement & meditation into my day
5. Leave gaps in my agenda for mini breaks

¨Take a moment to appreciate how far you have come¨

Often it is easy to concentrate in what we don´t have, comparing ourselves with others and feeling small.

In these moments, it is essential to pause and press the break…

In these moments, try to bring your attention in and away from stimulations that aggravates your mental & emotional state.

Looking inwards and back in time is an opportunity to acknowledge and to appreciate how far you have come.

I know there might be times where you feel as nothing is happening, you might feel stuck, things are moving slowly and they seem unclear in your head.

But believe me, you are ever evolving into your best version, even when you are resting the inner work, personal & spiritual growth is still happening.

I get you, it takes courage to trust the process, but let me tell you that, you hold enough courage to create your life & business vision.

👉🏻 Just remember that clarity and trust often lies on the pauses along the journey.

Just like we come into tadasana, mountain pose, (the pose of all beginnings), we roll out the mat to mark a new beginning, the beginning of a new day, a new opportunity and perspective.

Stepping on the mat is an opportunity to evaluate our overall state, to adjust, to balance and to align from the inside out.

Often all it takes is to go back to our rituals, to the source, to our teachers and the teachers before us.

Coming back to simplicity, out of the mind and into the wisdom of the body. That’s where real self-transcendence rests.
